We are seeking qualified candidates who hold a TCOM certification (2019 to present). Ideal applicants will have a robust technical background and experience with OCONUS deployments or assignments within the U.S. Military. Candidates should possess prior aerostat experience and expertise in mechanical, IT, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), or electronic fields. A CURRENT ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE is mandatory for consideration.

Program Overview: PSS-T is a Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) program that provides integrated persistent surveillance, detection capabilities, and Full Motion Video (FMV) dissemination to Tactical Operation Centers (TOC). This is an urgent hiring need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in hands-on operations of the aerostat system, including launch, in-flight activities, recovery, and moored operations.
  • Operate and maintain the aerostat, which serves as an ISR platform, along with its Mobile Mooring Platform (MMP), sensor payloads, communication and navigation systems, and associated support equipment (e.g., Boom Lift, Forklift, ATVs, Electrical Power Generators).

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with formal technical training (military or civilian).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Operator Level Criteria:

  • Level 2 Operator: Must have at least 2 years of aerostat experience.
  • Level 3 Operator: Must have at least 3 years of aerostat experience.

Operator Requirements: Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Electronic Maintenance: Solid background in radar, ISR, electronic warfare, communications, avionics repair, and troubleshooting.
  • ISR Operators: Experience in airborne or ground data collection and dissemination.
  • Information Technology: Network Installation certification (BICSI, Network+, or CompTIA) is required. Preferred qualifications include CCIE certification, fiber-optic certification, or experience as a Cisco Network Administrator.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Experience in diesel generators, vehicle repairs, automotive engines, hydraulics, and aircraft mechanics is highly desirable.

Deployment Requirements:

  • Willingness to work and reside on U.S. Military Bases and in remote locations with limited accommodations. Overseas assignments may be close to areas of potential conflict.
  • Must meet all physical, medical, and deployment requirements as per current DOD regulations.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Passport.
  • DOD SECRET Security Clearance is necessary.
  • Candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
