We have several OCONUS operator openings to support an Aerostat contract in Saudi Arabia (KSA). We are seeking individuals with a technical background, particularly those with experience in mechanical, IT, ISR, and electronic fields. To be considered for these roles, you must have a CURRENT ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE.
We need one level 4 to start and deploy ASAP, we need one level 4 and three level threes to start and deploy once clearing medical / CRC. All other requirements and salary info are listed below.
Primary areas of responsibility:
- Operators/maintainers will participate in the overall hands-on operation of the aerostat system, including launch, in-flight operations, recovery, and mooring activities.
- Candidates will perform all functions to operate the aerostat, an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform; its Mobile Mooring Platform (MMP), Sensor Payload(s), communications and navigation systems, as well as associated support equipment (Boom Lift, Forklift, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), and Electrical Power Generators).
Required Education/Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus formal technical training (via military or civilian technical schools).
Level 3 Shift Lead – Operator requirements:
The position requires both supervisory/leadership experience. Technical expertise with aerostat hardware or tactical ground-based ISR experience is preferred at a 40-series level in any MOS; a 30-series level or greater from Army MOS 35F/G/H and 96R/U; other military branch equivalents of Army MOS 35F/G/H and 96R/U; or an industry equivalent. The positions require training in HARC, MX Series, Vista Radar, DRTl 301C, TCDL, GeoSpera, and SOCET GXP.
Note: 30 Series/industry equivalent denotes four (4) or more years of experience in the requested labor disciplines. At least three (3) years of previous aerostat experience may qualify for Level Three experience. All Level Three Shift Leads must be trained and certified on all Level Two tasks and the Level Three requirements.
Level 4 Site Lead – Operator requirements:
The position requires supervisory/leadership experience and technical expertise with aerostat hardware or with tactical ground-based ISR. A 40 series level or greater in any MOS (Senior Non-commissioned, Technical Chief Warrant Officer), military branch equivalent, or industry equivalent to Army MOS 35F/G/H and 96R/U. The positions also require training in HARC, MX Series, Vista Radar, DRT1301C, TCDL, GeoSpera, and SOCET GXP.
Note: 40 Series/industry equivalent denotes six (6) or more years of experience in the requested labor disciplines. Al/ Level Four Site Leads must be trained and certified in all Level Three tasks, in addition to Level Four requirements, or have three (3) years of aerostat experience.
This position will be an independent 1099 contractor position, not a W2 employee position. You will be responsible for any taxes related to income and will need to fill out a W-9. If you have a corporation set up, you can be paid as a corporation.
Level 3 operators will be paid a salary of $77,040.00 and a per diem of $153.73 for a total income of $133,000.00. You will also receive a Danger Uplift amount of $51.71 per day to be issued during the state department’s guidance. You will receive lodging and work-related travel, along with 3 weeks of vacation.
Level 4 operators will be paid a salary of $92,040.00 and a per diem of $153.73 for a total income of $148,000.00. You will also receive a Danger Uplift amount of $61.78 per day to be issued during the state department’s guidance. You will receive lodging and work-related travel, along with 3 weeks of vacation.
No other PTO or benefits will be offered.
